The location of this budget hotel is great, as it is close to the food market where you can find delicious local cuisine. Additionally, it is right across the road from the beach, allowing easy access to the beautiful ocean.
The lack of privacy in the rooms was a major drawback. Guests reported that the blinds were not sufficient and people passing by could see everything inside the room.

Co.Banitas in Tulum is an absolute gem! I got amazing value for my money with a beautiful room that felt like a treasure. The location was peaceful, surrounded by nature and just a short walk from the beach. The staff, including the friendly host Carmen, went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. The free breakfast was delicious and the shower had the best pressure and view compared to anywhere else I've stayed. The glamping tent was spacious and had all the amenities I needed. I couldn't have asked for more!
The breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety, such as more fruit and cereal options.

We were delighted to find a charming bungalow-style accommodation nestled in the jungle just a stone's throw away from the local food market. the price was a steal compared to the pricey luxury resorts lining the ocean. the room had an open-air shower, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. the staff was incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. We were treated to a different delicious breakfast every day and had the opportunity to make new friends at the outdoor table area. the power and WiFi were reliable, and the ecological approach was commendable.
The noise from the nearby road was incessant and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The staff was incredible, always going above and beyond to help us out. The location was awesome, close to the beach and a beautiful cenote. The owner was really friendly and organized fantastic trips around the area. The hotel had a cool tropical forest vibe, and the shared bathrooms were always spotlessly clean. The spacious bedroom made us feel safe and secure. The staff also gave us GREAT recommendations for activities during the day. And even though I'm not a big fan of fruit, my boyfriend loved the breakfast every morning!
